拍摄手法和色调像是二十世纪七八十年代的，剧情的各个关键点的转化都略显突兀。主演基本就是个面瘫。虽然写的是德国战俘在劳改营的日子，但是由此也可以窥见斯大林时代的政治犯、富农的生活，他们的古拉格日子只会比电影里的刻画的德国战俘生活还要悲惨。

The ending is a bit trite but nevertheless, it's incredibly illuminating on the current situation and how "history doesn't repeat itself but it rhymes." It's reflexive as well since part of the footage was made in a documentary interview method while "Hitler" was in character. Not only did the German not mind seeing Hitler, but they bought into it.
